Marc Antoni Celebrate 60th Anniversary

Founded in 1966, the Marc Antoni story began with the opening of their first salon at Chatham Street in Reading.

Named in honour of Bruno Marc and Simon Antoni, the eldest sons’ of the visionary Bruno Gimattei Snr, the Marc Antoni name has become synonymous with quality and excellence. With salons in Bracknell, Fleet, Henley and Woodley, the Marc Antoni Family have maintained their strong family heritage, standing proud as multi award winners in the hairdressing industry. The company is run by Bruno Snr’s four sons Bruno, Simon, Aaron & Marcus Giamattei.

Kicking off their diamond celebrations, over 150 guests were welcomed to Easthampstead Park in Wokingham by Marc Antoni’s Co-Owner and Creative Director, Bruno Marc Giamattei. Who thanked attendees for coming to what was set to be a remarkable evening. Bruno reflected on the last 60 years of growth and expansion for Marc Antoni, both as a family and as a business, whilst highlighting the evolution of the Marc Antoni brand. The Marc Antoni philosophy is to offer clients an exceptional hairdressing experience. Their stellar reputation for innovative hairdressing and sound business acumen has been setting the bar since the opening of their first salon over 60 years ago.

Before an incredible three course dinner, there was a short video from the man behind it all, Bruno Snr, who asked for attendees to toast to the incredible milestone for the family. After dinner was served, attendees were welcomed back by Aaron Giamattei who announced that Marc Antoni had raised over £270k for Blood Cancer UK – a charity very close to the family’s heart. Aaron delved into the last six decades of trends and innovations that have influenced the brothers and the business, showcasing photographic collections, images and memories from the last 60 years.

Afterwards, the highly anticipated awards got underway; Aaron thanked the teams, their supporters and the family for continually pushing forward and providing the clients with the best service possible.
